The MASSON II model thermostatic baths are perfect for Serology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Microbiology, Pharmaceutical, Petrochemical, and Control Lab work, etc.The outside and inside are made of AISI 304 18/8 quality stainless steel, with a shiny finish.
They have a hydraulic-like double thermostat, imported from Germany; one is used for temperature control and the other for backup.

Given the case that the control thermostat malfunctions, the backup thermostat automatically starts to control the bath, therefore avoiding sample or specimen loss, especially those that are difficult to replace.
Both thermostats have pilot lights that tell you when they are on.
Thermostat sensitivity for both thermostats is +/- 0.5º C (32.9° F).
